In 2025, the export volume of agricultural products from Penza Oblast reached nearly 158 million dollars, exceeding the forecast plan by a quarter. At the same time, the structure of supplies is changing, with growth in products of higher added value.
"The task of increasing the production volumes of agricultural products and growing their exports was set by Russian President Vladimir Putin," the Governor emphasized. "This is one of the conditions for ensuring a sustainable and dynamic economy."
Penza Oblast exports agricultural goods to 50 countries worldwide, including states of the near abroad, Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America.
The main export products are poultry meat, confectionery products, sugar products, sunflower oil, animal feed, and products from further processing of food raw materials.
Penza Oblast is opening new sales markets. At the end of last year, turkey meat exports to Malaysia began, and at the beginning of this year to the Philippines. In 2026, more than 11,000 tons of granulated beet pulp were also shipped to Morocco.
"I see growth potential for the agricultural sector of Penza Oblast," Oleg Melnichenko stated. "This year, the total volume of state support for the region's agricultural sector is approximately two and a half billion rubles, including subsidies for processing and support for investment projects. I have instructed the regional Ministry of Agriculture to carry out phased support for investment projects significant for the development of our economy."
This year, the company "Molkom" is commissioning new production facilities, increasing the production of baby food.
GC "Damate" plans to complete the construction and launch a poultry unit in the Penza District. A total of five poultry breeding units are planned to be built by 2028.
The company "Dukat NovoSad" in the Bekovsky and Serdobsky Districts is implementing an investment project for the production of fruits and berries. Since 2023, orchards have been planted on an area of about 250 hectares. In 2026, almost another 70 hectares of land will be used for orchards. This group of companies is also building a production complex for producing cream and cream fillings based on milk on the territory of the "Otvel" industrial park.
In the advanced development territory in Serdobsk, the construction of an oil extraction plant is underway. The facility is planned to be completed in 2027.
"Cherkizovo Group" intends to modernize its meat processing plant and the Vasilyevskaya poultry farm.
