The Penza Oblast maintains positive dynamics in industrial production development. For January-March 2026, the industrial production index was 104.5% compared to the same period last year.
The greatest growth in production volumes is observed in industries such as the production of finished metal products, except machinery and equipment (+49.4%), furniture production (+19.6%), production of computers, electronic and optical products (+15.7%), and production of medicines and medical materials (+10.2%).
Due to increased labor productivity, modernization, and production robotization, industrial enterprises continue to be the engine of the Penza Oblast's economy.
