According to the Territorial Development Fund, in 2026 the Volga Federal District shows the highest activity in the country in carrying out major repairs of apartment buildings.
"Penza Oblast is among the top three leaders in the Volga Federal District in terms of capital repair activity," the Governor stated. "The largest volume of work was done in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Samara Oblast, and our Oblast. This year we have already repaired 80 buildings, home to more than 17 thousand people."
The head of the Oblast noted that roofs are also being put in order as part of the capital repair program. "Last year, we overhauled the roofs of 110 buildings in Penza and the Oblast's districts; since the beginning of this year, we have renovated the roofs of 17 apartment buildings. The work continues," Oleg Melnichenko emphasized.
