The meeting on the development of municipal level industrial sites in the region was held in the Government of the Penza region on 2 April 2018.
The meeting was attended by Valery Bespalov and Andrey Luzgin, Deputy Chairmen of the Government of the Penza Region, Mikhail Antonov, acting Minister of Industry, heads of innovative infrastructure enterprises in the Penza region, and representatives of municipalities.
From 2019 onwards, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation plans to focus on establishing small industrial sites at the municipal level that will provide the most favourable conditions for creating and encouraging new industries for small and medium businesses, including agriculture, in any particular territory.
The possibility of developing such sites in Kuznetsky, Serdobsky, Nizhnelomovsky and Nikolsky sub-districts was discussed at the meeting. Special emphasis was placed on the production of project documents, financial issues and industry-specific activities of potential residents.
