Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation supports Penza projects

Penza governor Ivan Belozertsev had a meeting with Vladimir Yakushev, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities on June 10th, 2018.

Also present were the Penza Minister for Construction and Roads Aleksandr Grishaev.
The parties discussed various questions of developing the construction sector in the region.

The 2017 results for housing construction of the Penza region were quite impressive: the new accommodation per person - the 3rd place in the Volga Federal District, accessibility co-efficient - the 4th place, total area of the residential accommodation per person - the 1st place.
The governor described the measures taken to encourage the residential construction, as per the strategic goals set by the RF president. Specifically, this concerns providing regional government finance for engineering, road and social infrastructure for land plots (in 2018 the sum was 200 million roubles), developing the capacities of the construction and building supplies industries, providing housing for special groups of people according to the federal and regional housing programmes (1122 people will be provided with accommodation in 2018, the regional government has set 802 million roubles for that purpose).

Apart from that, there are efforts to make mortgage schemes more accessible. Thus, in 2018 60 million roubles were allocated from the regional budget on mortgages according to the standards of the Russia Housing and Urban Development Corporation. More than 4550 mortgages were approved for the 5 months of 2018 that is by 50.7% higher than the results of the previous year.

Ivan Belozertsev also talked on the solutions for the problem of cheated investors. Vladimir Yakushev approved the technology roadmapping adopted by the regional government.

The Penza governor also presented the construction projects for a school for 800 students and a new road in Arbekovo, a city district aiming to participate in priority federal project ‘Mortgages and Rented Housing’.

Currently the housing complex ‘Arbekovskaya zastava’ in this district comprises more than 300 000 m2 of accommodation, the planned new housing of 336 200 m2 will be on the market by 2021.

Vladimir Yakushev voiced his support for the new projects. He expressed his conviction that participation in the country-wide programme will allow to decrease the primary construction costs and will help to make the district more attractive for future buyers.
