The governor of the region Ivan Belozertsev urged to involve the housing maintenance contractors to the renovation of apartment blocks.
About 185 apartment blocks will be renovated in 2018. This is a record number, considering that within the same renovation programme only 129 apartment blocks were renovated. The total costs will amount to 850 million roubles. More than 27 000 people in the Penza region will enjoy better living conditions.
‘We have to involve more maintenance projects teams. We can, as an example, gather some teams of students wishing to work under the guidance of their trainers who have the necessary licencing. This will be a good practice for them, and the residential dwellers will get their renovated homes quicker,’ said the governor.
He urged the heads of municipal governments to employ locally. ‘Each municipality should compile a list of legally approved contractos,’ he suggested.
