The Governor had a tour around the exhibition organized in the framework of the federal session “Future Science and Education” of “iVolga 2.0” youth forum of Volga Federal District and met with participants from Penza region on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019.

The exhibition displayed recent inventions of young scientists and students in various fields: biotechnologies, aircraft engineering, automobile engineering, medicine and others.

According to the supervisor of the federal session “Future Science and Education” Artyom Sergeev, this year a record-breaking amount of research-&-production project applications were submitted to “iVolga”: over 200. As for July 29th, the exhibition was visited by over 3000 people.

The Governor marked the high level of organization and culture of young representatives from Penza participating in the forum.

“The territory allocated to Penza region is neat, clean and in order. You have properly arranged the exposition of Penza region. As I’ve heard from colleagues and youth from other regions who I’ve had conversations today with, the delegation from Penza is one of the most united and friendly”, said Ivan Belozertsev when talking to Penza’s youth.

The delegation from Penza region brought several projects and inventions to “iVolga 2.0”.

In particular, a PSTU student Vadim Kopylov described his project devoted to manufacturing of utilities and expendable materials for centers of youth innovative creativity, technoparks, as well as for a number of defence industry enterprises.

“Production of utilities on one’s own is a serious idea. I am ready to discuss it specifically back in Penza. We can involve our technopark in the implementation or, maybe, industrial enterprises. Probably, in time, it may grow into an outstanding project that will be in demand not just in our region, but even beyond the borders of the Russian Federation”, noted the Head of the region.

“Thank you for such projects, thank you for having such young men and women like you”, concluded Ivan Belozertsev.

The Governor committed the Minister of Education of Penza region to examine the projects that had not won the grants, but were interesting, after the forum to promote them at the regional level.
