Ivan Belozertsev commented on the results of the presidential election at the media stakeout on Monday, March 19, 2018.
“I am confident that together with the elected President of the Russian Federation, the residents of the Penza region will do their utmost to promote further development of Russia, to advance our region, to rectify social and economic situation, as well as to improve life of people,” he emphasised.
The governor thanked the residents of the region, who demonstrated high citizenship and genuine love for the country.
"I extend my gratitude and appreciation to each of you who came to the polling station and who voted for your President,” Ivan Belozertsev said.
“Today the Penza region is one of the most active constituent entities of the Russian Federation within the 2018 presidential election. Dear fellow citizens, thank you very much!” he summed up.
The governor stressed that the elections were held in the atmosphere of openness and in full compliance with legislation, and their legitimacy is not questioned.
