The Head of the region estimated the beautification of the promenade on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019.
Recently, there has been completed the first stage of the third queue of the object. Over 100 million rubles from the federal, municipal and regional budgets have been assigned for the repair works within the program “Comfortable city environment”.
The subcontractor disassembled the upper promenade, equipped the ramp from Bakuninskiy bridge, laid low-current circuits, exterior water supply, an automated watering system, exterior drainage systems, landscaping illumination. The upper promenade was tiled. As of today, the subcontractor has finished works.
“Prepare the documents required for the second stage completion taking into account the co-financing from the municipal budget, - instructed Ivan Belozertsev the head of the regional housing and communal services and civil protection of the population. – We have to finish the beautification by the end of next April”.
According to the plan, further on the promenade territory will have cafes and other commercial outlets erected in the uniform style.
“On the embankment, we need architectural elements that will attract guests of the city. We should install a floating stage, several fountains in the river along the whole promenade, and think about minor architectural pieces”, said the governor.
He noted that it already was the time to develop a project of the right bank of the Sura River opposite the embankment.
