A team from “Start” production association won the VI National Championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2019 in the “Technological composites” competence.
The roster included Maxim Boromychenko, a group leader at the technological department of welding, thermal treatment, processing of plastic and ceramics of the production manager’s service, Evgeniy Ledyaev, a category 1 industrial engineer of the central factory laboratory, and Aleksey Tokarev, a production sector foreman of the casting, plastic and ceramics shop.
The VI National Championship of hi-tech industrial workers WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2019 embraced 738 competitors from 53 regions of the Russian Federation – experts from 39 largest Russian corporations, holdings and enterprises: Rosatom, Rostech, Sibura, Roskosmos, United Aircraft Corporation, Evraza, Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Factory, RZD.
The competitors’ performance was evaluated by 670 experts. The golden medals were awarded to 91 competitors, 76 took the silver medals, and 73 – the bronze. The competition covered 48 competences of workmanship.
WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2019 has become the largest championship of hi-tech industrial workers in history.
