In October, in the framework of the Russian state program “Implementation of the state national policy”, the Federal Agency for National Affairs carried out the III All-Russian Patriotic International Youth Camp “Generation”.
Over 170 youth leaders from 52 regions of Russia under the guidance of experienced mentors – directors and actors – came up with and shot eight short films, five of which were granted awards and will be recommended by the FANA of Russia for broadcasting on regional TV channels.
The Grand Prix was awarded to two films – #человек (#human) and «Не прыгай!» (Don’t jump!), the first place the jury gave to a short film «193», the second – «Кумек habe» (Kumek habe), the third – «Письмо» (A letter), the audience choice award went to #человек (#human).
The winners were congratulated by Igor Barinov, the head of the Federal Agency for National Affairs, Aleksey Voevoda, a deputy of the State Duma and a two-time Olympic bobsleigh champion, and Ivan Petrov, a deputy head of the national policy and interregional relations department of Moscow.
“The “Generation” camp proved that such events are important and necessary in our multinational country. Let the friendship that emerged in the creative atmosphere of the camp maintain and grow stronger. And the fourth “Generation” shall be!”, noted Igor Barinov.
The closing ceremony featured performances by such popular singers as Yuliya Mikhalchik and Aleksey Khvorostyan; the camp participants sang the anthem of “Generation” and introduced all guests to a vivid original culture of peoples of Russia – songs, dances, melodies.
The All-Russian “Generation” Camp was held from the 16th to 21st of October in Moscow district at “Litvinovo” fitness complex. The teenagers indulged in an eventful program. The learned about the secrets of professional success of Oleg Artemyev, a Hero of Russia and a cosmonaut, Maria Zakharova, the director of the information and press department of the MFA of Russia, Sergey Tarakanov, an Olympic basketball champion, Vladimir Mineev, a kickboxing world champion, actresses Yuliya Zimina and Yuliya Alexandrova, and others.
The authors of the best short films on the international theme were awarded in the estate on Volkhonka.
