German-language teachers from Penza are on training in Germany

The first training stage within the program “Theoretical and practical principles of educational activity in the field of Philology” for teachers of English and German languages has come an end.

The first group of 6 German-language teachers who displayed the best training results has set off to one of the most famous language centers of Germany - DID Deutsch-Institut Berlin.

The training program abroad includes participation in language seminars, introduction to examples of new individual styles of German–language teaching, learning new language-teaching and educational material analyzing techniques. During the training, the teachers will have a chance to become students, observers, and critics.

The course subject scope:

- mastering the theory and practice of the German language;

- mastering modern German-language-teaching techniques;

- improving a lesson-conducting technique in foreign language;

- getting familiar with new trends in the German language;

- advising on the choice of the optimal German-language-teaching materials regarding age, interest and psychological types of students;

- cultural and educational activities (tours to Berlin and Leipzig).

A group of English-language teachers will leave for training in Great Britain on November 15th, 2019.

For regional teachers, this program offers an opportunity to have live communication with foreign colleagues which will encourage further consolidation of the cultural exchange.

Reference. It should be reminded that the training program for foreign-language teachers from rural schools has been implemented since 2017. For this period of time, 120 teachers have completed advanced training courses, and 24 teachers have been on training in Great Britain. In 2019, the range of participants has been expanded, and a group of German-language teachers has been formed with 6 of them currently on training in Germany.
