The final stage of the All-Russian Contest of Additional Education Instructors “I give my heart to children” set off in Penza

The opening ceremony took place in the regional philharmonic hall on Monday, November 18th, 2019.

The region had been given the honor to host the final after the victory of Alyona Zhukova, senior methodologist of the regional Center of Children and Youth Creativity Development, in 2018 in Orenburg.

This year, in Penza, the All-Russian stage of the professional skills contest for additional education instructors “I give my heart to children” embraced specialists from over 30 regions of Russia.

“We welcome here on Penza land the best representatives of the Russian system of additional education. It is not just the general level of children’s development, but the stability of the society in general and its wellness that depend on your performance. An open, mobile and flexible system of additional education is capable of reacting quickly to the challenges of time, facing them and protecting the interests of children, families, the society, and the state”, address the Governor to the contest finalists.

He emphasized that in our region the additional education of the rising generation was one of the priorities of the state policy.

“We consider the additional education of children to be one of the most effective instruments of solving key objectives of the regional socio-economic development, stated Ivan Belozertsev. – Our teachers accustom children and teenagers to a healthy lifestyle, reveal their creative potential, and, what’s most important, encourage their self-determination and choice of future occupation, create favorable conditions for patriotic and moral upbringing”.

“The professional skills contest “I give my heart to children” is a perfect site for teachers to present their best practices and share experiences. Besides, it is an opportunity to jointly find effective solutions to topical pedagogical problems”, summarized the Governor.

On Tuesday, November 19th, the contest trials in 8 nominations will be held on three sites: in lyceum of modern management technologies № 2 of Penza, in classical gymnasium № 1 of Penza, and in the new building of school № 66 of Penza. On Wednesday, November 20th, in the school of Zasechnoe village, Penza district, 8 winners, one in each nomination, will be announced. These 8 people will meet on November 21st in the library named after M. Yu. Lermontov for the final competition.

The contest conclusion and the closing ceremony will take place on Thursday evening in “Penza” cinema and concert hall.
