Society 16.03.2020

On Wednesday, March 4, 2020 the Governor Ivan Belozertsev assessed the conditions of police service.

The station is created by the Penza Oblast Police Department's order dating 17 June 2019 of the Bessonovsky district Police Department with the assistance of the regional government. The territory of the service includes Chemodanovka and Lopatki, with the population of both villages of about 7.5 thousand people.

The police station provides for 6 employees (the head of the station, the criminal investigation officer, district commissioners, the inspector of juvenile affairs);  all the staff is recruited.

In addition, in the building there are 7 police officers serving the surrounding localities: the villages of Kizhevatovo, Lopukhovka, Aleksandrovka and others.

The premises of the station are completely renovated, the employees are provided with transport, computers and office equipment.

Sergey Shchetkin, the head of the Penza Oblast Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs, told the Governor about plans to create new police strongholds, including those in Penza districts  under construction and in nearby territories.

"This is a good idea, complex construction is underway, Sputnik, far and near Arbekovo, GPZ and other neighborhoods are developing. It is important for each of them to have their own police stations," - Ivan Belozertsev said. "The citizens' peace and well-being depend on the activities of local employees and on the work of district commissioners".

"Make suggestions: we will work with developers to create projects providing such stations on the ground floors of residential buildings. We are ready to allocate budget funds if necessary to help resolve this issue," the head of the region specified.
