Kuznetsk is to obtain two computer tomographs.
"This is an earnest support in our fight against the coronavirus. Now there will be two CT scanners in the town," said Sergey Zlatogorsky, head of the Kuznetsk administration, at a meeting of the operational working group that organises and coordinates measures to prevent the coronavirus infection spread. "Thanks to the support of the head of the region Ivan Belozertsev, the opportunity has been found. One of the scanners will be installed in the inter-district hospital, and the other one, brought from the regional cancer centre, will be transferred to the children's hospital".
At the end of October, the Kuznetsk interdistrict hospital lost its only tomograph. The scanner is necessary to diagnose patients with the coronavirus infection, since it is the only study that determines the degree of lung damage.
