On February 8, 2021, the Penza State Technological University opened another auditorium of the student research and design campus, which is located on the ground floor of the second building.
"The technology centre of the PenzSTU is a specially organised platform with the equipment necessary for the development of our sudents' models," says the head of the R&D Department Yu. Dianova. "The laser and milling machines, 3D printers, computers, and laptops placed here will help our young scientists to continue working on the embodying of their ideas."
At the opening ceremony Dmitry Pashchenko, PenzSTU Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, noted importance of the new scientific platform for supporting student initiatives. "I congratulate you on the Day of Russian Science," he greeted the students and their academic advisers who had gathered in the hall. "I am sure that the Technocentre will allow you to handle many applied research tasks and will give a new impetus to the development of scientific projects."
The Technocentre will allow students of the Technological University to engage in creativity, scientific and technical projects, and develop their technical skills in the OpenSpace format, which will definitely be useful in the future.
