Grigory Ivliyev, head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, announced that after the exhibition of the VII All-Russian forum "InnoMed".
"At almost every stand of the forum's exposition, I was told that there are patents for the invention of a utility model. This means that world-class production facilities are being created," the head of Rospatent shared his impressions with journalists. "We issue patents only for what has the signs of world novelty. And we see that Penza and other Russian cities show here advanced technologies that will serve people. I think that patenting is becoming central for medical clusters throughout the country, including in Penza."
He stressed that cooperation with our region will continue.
"We have decided to create the Volga branch of the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property. We will establish it in Penza to work not only with the Volga Federal District, but probably also with the southern regions," Grigory Ivliyev added. "There will be opportunities to study in all our advanced training programmes, we plan to organise training in professional programmes in the field of intellectual property related to law, economics, management and engineering technological systems."
Oleg Melnichenko stated that this will open up new prospects for the export promotion of Penza products.
"This is a very important decision, we will have a training centre in Penza, which will make it easier for our industrial enterprises to obtain international patents and, accordingly, enter the international market," the acting governor said.
