On November 26, 2021, the Penza Oblast machine-tool enterprises held a videoconference with representatives of German companies in the format of a teleconference with the possibility of individual B2B negotiations.
A prerequisite for the event was the visit of Andreas Renner, the Authorised Representative of the Russian-German Chamber of Foreign Trade in the Volga Federal District, to the Penza Oblast.
Dmitry Polukarov, Acting Director General of the Penza Oblast Development Corporation, Andreas Krai, Director General of the Thuringia Economic Development Agency, Mikhail Labudin, First Deputy Director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia, as well as more than 20 representatives of the Penza Oblast and German business communities delivered welcoming speeches.
The main purpose of the event was to further expand and develop trade and economic cooperation, as well as to discuss the prospects of localisation and creation of joint industrial production in the Penza Oblast.
During the online meeting, the region's industrial and investment potential was demonstrated, and representatives of Penza companies spoke about the activities of their enterprises.
Currently, the Penza machine-tool cluster includes 10 enterprises. The level of their cooperation for the production of high-tech products is already 47%.
The German companies' success in the implementation of investment projects in the Penza Oblast may lead to the further partnerships.
