The VIII GS GROUP "Ya Reshayu" International Mathematical Competition for high school students from non-metropolitan cities was held on January 29-30.
In total, 30 high school students from 17 regions of Russia and Uzbekistan reached the final. The Penza Oblast was represented by Roman Myasnikov, a student of the 9th physics and mathematics class of the Provincial Lyceum. He won the international mathematics competition "Ya Reshayu", one of the key projects of the GS Group investment and industrial holding educational programme for students of grades 9-11 from all over Russia (except St. Petersburg and Moscow), as well as countries of the CIS and others.
Note: The competition has been held since 2013 and is aimed at finding and supporting talented schoolchildren. Over the entire history of the event, over 34,000 schoolchildren from all Russian regions and 19 countries of the world have become its participants. 32 winners of the competition entered the country's leading universities and received GS Group scholarships. The first winners are already working in innovative sectors of the domestic industry.
