Daniyal Agamagomedov and Vladislav Bagryanov, the Penza Provincial Lyceum stedents, were awarded bronze medals of the 18th International Zhautykov Olympiad for Schoolchildren IZhO-2022, held with the organisational support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The results of the intellectual competition were announced on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Penza schoolchildren won in maths.
In total, the Provincial Lyceum team – one of the teams representing Russia – had three mathematicians, two physicists and two computer scientists.
Note: The annual International Zhautykov Olympiad is one of the most prestigious educational events in the world.
In 2022, it was held in a remote format on February 16 and 17 and gathered a record number of participants – 1 thousand 6 schoolchildren representing 146 teams from 20 countries of the world.
