The VII International Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad was held in Maykop from March 11 to March 16, 2022, with 150 schoolchildren from Russia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan participating. The Penza Oblast was represented by the 9th grade team of the Provincial Lyceum namely Maksim Ivanov, Roman Myasnikov and Vadim Abramov. The team leader was Natalia Tsepkova.
The Olympiad is held with the support of the RF President's grant from the Presidential Grants Fund, as well as the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Adygea. ITV is the partner of the competition. The jury consists of famous Russian mathematicians and teachers, coaches of the Russian national team in mathematics, as well as gold and silver medalists of the International Mathematical Olympiad of different years.
At the competition Maksim Ivanov won the gold medal, Roman Myasnikov got the silver one, and Vadim Abramov received the bronze award.
