On April 23, the awarding ceremony of the 5th "My Heroes of the Great War" international contest-festival, held by the Oksana Fyodorova Foundation, took place in the Hall of the Commanders of the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora.
The competition received more than 7.5 thousand applications. There are 48 winners in four categories.

Byorn Polyakov, student of Penza school No. 75/62, made a video report dedicated to the feat of Andrei Merenyashev, Hero of the Soviet Union, which took third place and was praised for the author's approach, original performance and close attention to the topic of preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War heroes.

The solemn moment of the ceremony was the donation to the Victory Museum of the historical painting Tea Party in Sosnovka. May 1972 that depicts the meeting of two marshals - Georgy Zhukov and Ivan Bagramyan. The grandson of the latter and the creator of the painting also attended the award ceremony. In addition, at the ceremony, the Russian Post postmarked cards with the winners' works, signed them and sent to veterans.
The Victory Museum, the Russian Post, the Russian Schoolchildren's Movement, the Russian State Children's Library, the Russian Union of Veterans, the National Parent Association, and the Immortal Regiment of Russia movement were the co-organisers of the jubilee competition-festival in 2022.

As Oksana Fyodorova, president of the foundation, TV presenter, Miss Universe, noted, every year the participants' creativity and skills are growing and it is more and more difficult to choose the winners.
"For me, all the participants of the competition are winners. Children, together with their parents and teachers disclosed the topic with warmth, respect and responsibility that deserve the highest praise. Today, it is important for each of us to preserve the historical memory of the generation that fought in the Great Patriotic War, of that immortal feat that unites the peoples who defended our land and the whole world from fascism," Oksana Fyodorova said.
