The mentor of the children's technopark "Kvantorium NEL" Yuna Timirbayeva won the open International Olympiad of St. Petersburg State University among students and specialists of Petropolitan Science (Re)Search in Pedagogy.
The Olympiad was created to encourage talented young professionals with deep knowledge and a broad scientific outlook. The winners and prize-winners of the PS(R)S Olympiad, depending on the field of training, will be able to receive up to 100 additional points for individual achievements when enrolling in the master's and postgraduate programs of St. Petersburg State University. In addition, participants will be able to reveal their research and creative abilities in their professional field, going beyond the standard university assignments.
Intellectual competitions are held in 17 directions: Mathematics, Fundamental Mechanics, Computing Technologies, Physics, Earth Sciences, Psychology, Social Sciences, Political Science, Philology, Pedagogy and others.
The Olympiad includes various types of tasks: preparation of research papers and subsequent public defence of the results of their work, written tests: solving problems and performing test tasks.
