The award ceremony of the XI All-Russian competition of professional skills in the field of social services took place during the All-Russian Week of Labour Protection, held in the city of Sochi.
The competition, organized by the Ministry of Labour, is aimed at encouraging specialists who introduce new approaches and improve the quality of life of citizens. According to the new rules, not only state organizations, but also representatives of the private sector were able to take part in the competition.
Elena Kulagina, Executive Director of the autonomous non-profit organization "Kvartal Lui", won the federal stage of the competition in the nomination "Best Practice of Assisted Living for Disabled People" for the project on assisted living, training, employment of disabled people.
The winners were congratulated by the RF Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov.
"The All-Russian competition of professional skills has been opening new names for almost 11 years. This year, more than 2 thousand projects were submitted to the competition. More than 400 experts evaluated the submissions. All presented practices deserve attention, and the works of all finalists are certainly worthy of replication. Each presented project is an example of how, according to the principle of small things, you can really change the quality of life of people," Anton Kotyakov said.
