The results of the first competition of the Presidential Grants Fund in 2023 have been summed up. A total of 59 applications were submitted from the Penza Oblast, and 14 of them were recognized as winners. The total grant support amounted to over 27.2 million rubles.
The largest grant of 5,290,697 rubles will be received by the autonomous non-profit organization for the prevention of bad habits "Science and Education", headed by Elena Panfyorova. The funds will be directed to the implementation of the educational project "Modern prevention. Scaling up" to prevent the early use of psychoactive substances by minors.
A grant in the amount of 2,999 848.49 rubles will be provided to the Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Movement for preserving the memory of those killed in the defense of the Fatherland "Search Movement of Russia" under the leadership of Larisa Kazakova. The project "Immortality on the Volga" is dedicated to the study of the combat path of the 62nd and 277th Rifle divisions, which were reorganized in the Penza Oblast before the Battle of Stalingrad.
The autonomous non-profit organization for the provision of social services "United Family", headed by Nadezhda Volkova, will receive a grant in the amount of 2,998,404.80 rubles for the implementation of the project "FAMILY TIME NEXT". It is planned to create a family inclusive center in Penza for short-term care of children with disabilities.
The grant of 478,679 rubles was won by the Penza regional organization of the All-Russian charitable public organization of disabled people "All-Russian Society of Hemophilia" under the leadership of Marina Safronkina. The funds will be used for the implementation of the project "Connecting Kindness".
