The winners of the international competition "Prometheus Star" were awarded in St. Petersburg. Kseniya Kushnaryova, a 1st-year student of the Penza College of Architecture and Construction, was among them.
The badge "Prometheus Star" is awarded to children from 10 to 17 years old who have achieved high results in various academic fields. The winners are determined in the following nominations: Science, Young Leader, Scientific and Technical Creativity, Sport, and Journalism.
Kseniya Kushnaryova presented her project "Sundial" in the Science nomination and won, sharing the first place with two participants from St. Petersburg.
For more than 25 years, the competition has been identifying and supporting the young talents of Russia and foreign countries. The main goal of the contest, dedicated to the memory of the first chairman of the Board of the World Club of Petersburgers Valentina T. Orlova, is to encourage students to strive for knowledge and spiritual ideals, and to develop children's talents.
