The Yunarmy military-patriotic camp will be held in the Penza Oblast from August 1 to August 17, 2023. The information is published on the official website of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the RF President of Russia in the Volga Federal District (http://pfo.gov.ru/projects/guardsman/).
The camp will traditionally be organized on the territory of the A. V. Khrulyov Penza Artillery Engineering Institute. Children of 9-10 grades from all 14 regions of the Volga Federal District will take part in the event. These are students of cadet classes, cadet boarding schools, military-patriotic youth associations, clubs, as well as disadvantaged teenagers.
During the two-week shift, those who have passed the preliminary selection in their regions will immerse themselves in conditions close to the real life of soldiers of the modern Russian Armed Forces. Young people will have classes in fire and initial military training, history of the Fatherland, modern tactics and methods of warfare, as well as competitions in sports and military-applied disciplines (mini-football, volleyball, basketball, paintball, orienteering, darts, and air rifle shooting).
In the end the best teams will be determined, and all participants of the training camp will receive memorable prizes.
The military-patriotic training camp "Guardsman" has been held since 2013 with the support of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the VFD and the Government of the Penza Oblast. The event is implemented to develop the creative potential of the young people, strengthen health, foster patriotism, acquire basic knowledge in the field of state defense and prepare young people for military service, as well as to promote effective social adaptation of disadvantaged adolescents.
