The action plan for the cooperation agreement implementation 2023-2025 between the Government of the Penza Oblast and the Republic of Belarus was signed by Governor Oleg Melnichenko and the head of the Belarusian working group Yuri Shuleyko at the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus.
Oleg Melnichenko stressed that the interaction actively developing. Agreements on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation were signed with the Minsk, Gomel, Mogilev, Brest and Vitebsk Regional Executive Committees and the Republic of Belarus.
Inter-municipal cooperation is also being carried out. Twin-city relations have been established between Penza and Mogilev, and Kuznetsk and Baranovichi.
The document signed today affects joint interests in such areas as industrial production and cooperation, construction and transport, as well as healthcare, education, science and culture, youth policy and sports.
