The RF Public Chamber and RAEX-Analytics rating agency with the support of the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko presented the rating of the level and quality of the non-profit sector development "Regional Non-Profit 2022".
This project is an expert assessment of 85 regions of the Russian Federation (as of 2022) and reflects the effectiveness and potential of the development of the non-profit sector. The rating is an important tool for transformation in the regions.
The level of development of the non-profit sector is determined by objective factors: economic significance, sustainability of existence, activity, the level of state support, online availability of information about the support of non-profits, media activity of regional non-profits, the social significance of the non-profit sector in the region, and the significance of resource centers. The results of regional expert survey also affect the rating of a region.
The Penza Oblast is among the top twenty in terms of individual factors such as sustainability and media activity of non-profits; and in terms of online availability of information on the non-profit organizations support, Penza ranks second in the country.
According to the 2022 results, our region took the 35th place.
