This was stated by the director of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund Ilya Balanin on Tuesday, September 5, at the strategic session "Global Trends in Maintaining Healthy Society", which was held as part of the V Forum of Regional Social Innovations in Moscow.
The Penza delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health of the Penza Oblast Vyacheslav Kosmachyov took part in the forum.
The Forum started on September 5 with the plenary session "Modern Russia: Current Challenges" chaired by Valentina Matviyenko.
Valentina Matviyenko noted that 8 years had passed since the first Social Innovations Forum.
"Over the years, a large-scale, deep transformation has taken place in the social sphere: the active development of social legislation, the introduction of new targeted measures to support citizens, families with children, and the growth of social responsibility of business. Digital projects, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies have entered the social sphere. Telemedicine has experienced huge growth," said Valentina Matviyenko.
The Federation Council launched projects in the field of disease prevention and rehabilitation. These are the public project "Preventive Shield of Russia", the All-Russian educational project "Cancer Prevention", and a number of others.
Discussions at the forum were focused on issues of the social sphere development, effective practices implemented in Moscow and other cities to achieve a high quality of life, and new opportunities that open up through social innovations.
On the first day of the Forum, topical issues of preventive measures were discussed, which are an integral component of the formation of a healthy society.
At the strategic session "Global Trends in Maintaining Healthy Society", Ilya Balanin noted that the Penza Oblast is among five leading regions in the implementation of preventive measures.
