First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Olga Batalina awarded Elena Slizkova. The solemn ceremony took place during the All-Russian Week of Labor Protection, held in Sochi.
The competition is aimed at encouraging specialists who introduce new approaches in their work, improving the citizens’ quality of life.
Elena Slizkova, head of the day care department of the Regional Social Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities, took 2nd place in the nomination "Best Practice of Supporting Families Raising Children with Disabilities".
Her competition work is devoted to the interaction with families raising children with disabilities.
The mechanism implemented by the staff of the Regional Social Rehabilitation Center for Children is focused on the formation of parents’ initiative in matters of upbringing and education of children. Specialists of the day care department demonstrate the means and methods of communication with children, and methods of developing their emotions and personality.
Workshops, master classes on the organization of developmental classes, presentations, individual and group practical classes, story-role-playing games, exercises, modeling of real situations, consultations, and cultural and leisure activities were held.
The Kaleidoscope Family club operates in the Center. The club is aimed at organizing leisure activities for children and parents, expanding social contacts of the family, personal development and disclosure of the creative potential of children and adults, and successful socialization.
