The winners of the contest "School Museum — Look Into the Future" from the Penza Oblast were awarded at the Victory Museum. The ceremony was held as part of the All-Russian Congress "School Museum of Victory". Among the awardees are schoolchildren and a teacher of the Secondary school No. 18 of Penza. In addition, in the special nomination "Mentor", the organizers noted Oleg Mashin, a teacher of the Multifunctional Youth Center and Secondary School No. 74 of Penza.
A large-scale forum was held at the Victory Museum on October 26-27. It was attended by heads and activists of museums of educational institutions — more than 300 people from 42 regions of Russia. Participants attended round tables, workshops and lectures, and excursions. The organizers held educational classes for schoolchildren. Teachers discussed the activities of school museums and presented innovative practices. At the closing ceremony, a resolution of the congress was adopted and the main directions for the development of museum pedagogy were determined.
The All-Russian Congress "Victory School Museum" was organized by the Victory Museum with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as part of the federal project "Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation". It was also timed to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. The Congress started the preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
