The Federation Council is usually called the Chamber of Regions, we can compare how things are in different regions of the Russian Federation. The Penza Oblast is in very good standing. He called the Penza Oblast a promptly developing Russian region.
"I often communicate with our foreign partners, including geopolitical opponents, and very often I hear from them that Russian propaganda allegedly embellishes the state of affairs in our country. They really want our economy to fall under the sanctions. I want to commit myself to show them the Penza Oblast so that foreigners can see how Russia really lives and develops, how it believes in its future, how it adapts to new conditions without panic and shying away, increasing its potential," Konstantin Kosachyov said.
"There are so many sanctions imposed on Russia that no country in the world has ever known," Oleg Melnichenko stated. – But I think it only pushed us to develop. The Penza Oblast is growing in the agricultural and processing sectors, and everything necessary is being done to ensure the country's food security. In the manufacturing sector, we confidently keep the industrial production index at about 115 percent compared to last year's level. This suggests that the sanctions failed to destroy the economy. Localization in a number of industries is increasing; the level of cooperation is growing, both in the region and with our colleagues from other regions. In a very short time, Russia will be leading in a number of industries internationally."
