The Presidential Grants Fund summed up the results of the first 2024 competition for non-profit organizations. A total of 68 applications were submitted for the first competition from the Penza Oblast.10 were recognized as winners, and the total grant support amounted to over 25 million rubles.
The biggest grant of 8 million 828 thousand 320 rubles was won by the Penza regional charity fund "Helping Hand for Homeless Animals", headed by Daria Zhalnina. The money will be directed to the project "Love.Feed.Sterilize" - a program to support the humanity and responsibility of citizens.
The project is aimed at solving the urgent social problem of neglected animals in the Penza Oblast. The main goal of the project is to create an accessible infrastructure for citizens interested in humane reduction of the population of neglected animals.
2 million 999 thousand 440 rubles will be provided to the Penza regional branch of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Geographical Society" under the leadership of Igor Pantyushov for the implementation of the initiative "Return to Native Shores".
Russian Historical and Cultural Cluster "Valley of the White Ermine" is a complex of activities aimed at preserving, studying and popularizing memorable places and events related to the heritage of Russian pioneers and polar explorers on their native land, using the example of the merits of the famous researcher of Russian America Lavrenty Zagoskin, whom the North American Indians called "White Ermine."
The autonomous non-profit organization for the development of adaptive sports "More than Sport", headed by Nataliya Shmonina, will receive a grant of 2 million 472 thousand 971 rubles 76 kopecks for the implementation of the project Interregional Sledge Hockey tournament "Breakthrough-2024".
It is planned to hold a number of open events with the players of the sledge hockey teams SiyazharSaransk and SiyazharKrasnoslobodsk.
459 thousand 480 rubleswas won by the autonomous non-profit organization of additional education "Inclusive Rehabilitation and Habilitation Center" headed by Anna Seleznyova. The funds will be used for the implementation of the Colorful World project (art therapy as a means of habilitation of children with ASD).
