The Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation took part in the opening of the Penza Oblast Public Support Headquarters as part of a working visit to the region.
Oleg Melnichenko and Anna Kuznetsova talked with Penza volunteers, thanking them for their active assistance to residents of new territories of the Russian Federation and participants in the special military operation.
As part of the activities of the Penza Oblast Public Support Headquarters, it is planned to open a Volunteer Training Center for humanitarian missions, conduct classes on primary medical and psychological care, and military training.
"We are doing a great job today. I think that the Headquarters of Public Support will become an attraction for our public formations, primarily youth ones," the governor stated. In the near future, work will be in full swing here, our public figures will solve important issues for the region, and provide support to citizens who need it. These are large families, low-income families, and families of the participants of the special military operation."
The head of the region noted that representatives of all levels of government will also hold receptions here.
The Vice Speaker of the RF State Duma thanked the governor for the work that is being done in the Penza Oblast.
"I would also like to highlight the attention paid in the Penza Oblast to demographic problems. Moreover, the year 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family by the President," Anna Kuznetsova stressed. I know how much effort is being directed in the region to improve the quality of life.  Systematic consistent work will definitely give results."
