"The activity of the Service is to advise parents on the development, upbringing, education and socialization of children, to solve emerging problems in the upbringing of a child, and issues of adoption," said the rector of the Penza Regional Development Institute Gennady Belorybkin.

"Theformats of service provision are very different. They can be carried out face-to-face and remotely. These can be lectures, forums, parent meetings, or trainings, during which the best specialists of the Penza region will help solve pressing problems in parenting," explained Mikhail Kozin, coordinator of the Parenthood Assistance Service.
The creation of the Servicebecame possible thanks to a grant received withinthe federal project "Modern School" of the national project "Education".
"The Parenthood Assistance Service is an important project for our region. Parents do not always know where they can turn with their questions in order to solve certain difficulties that arise in the process of raising and educating children. There are psychologists, there are social educators, there are non-profit organizations. But this is the first time we have such a well–structured, organized and professional work with the parent community. I am sure that the created Service will benefit both parents and children. And not only in matters of education, but also simply in communicating with each other, in establishing mutual understanding and trust," said Irina Osetrova, Deputy Minister of Education of the Penza Oblast.
