The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party, together with the governor of the Penza region and representatives of Gazprom took part in the grand opening of the gas pipeline in the village of Lebedyovka, Penza Oblast.
The gas infrastructure was developed in Novaya Ternovka microdistrict within the program initiated by United Russia and supported by the President of the country.
"A large program of infrastructure development, which was announced by our President, is being successfully implemented in the Penza Oblast. This is one of the leading regions in fulfilling this task," stated Andrey Turchak. On behalf of the President, the program has been declared indefinite. Now, social facilities are also being supplied with gas for free, without attracting funds from regional and local budgets. In his message to the Federal Assembly, the President set another task: supply of gas to summer cottages. Our residents will now be able to bring gas to their homes for free."
In Novaya Ternovka, one of the first households of the Abuzyarov family with many children was connected to gas supply. The gas pipeline to the household was laid by Gazprom as part of program. The Abuzyarov family used a regional subsidy to build gas networks inside their house.
"Despite the fact that the Penza Oblast has highly developed gas supply infrastructure (more than 90%), the program is still in great demand," Oleg Melnichenko noted. We have supplied gas to eight thousand households in the Penza Oblast. I would like to express my warmest words of gratitude to the structures of Gazprom that are working on the program. We are actively involved in this work on the part of the regional government."
The General Director of Gazprom MezhRegionGaz thanked Oleg Melnichenko for fruitful cooperation.
"The region is a leader in the gas supply program, and multiple social and economic issues have been solved," Sergey Gustov stressed. I would like to thank the gas workers of the Penza Oblast, who are doing a really good job."
To date, 9350 applications for gas supply have been submitted in the Penza Oblast, more than 8000 of them have been accepted, and almost 7,900 contracts have been signed. More than 5,700 households have already been connected to the gas pipeline.
The regional budget provides for reimbursement of the costs of carrying out work within the boundaries of the land plot and within the household to certain categories of citizens. The amount of payments is up to 100 thousand rubles. Last year, 248 residents of the Penza region used this support measure.
This year, more than 20 million rubles have been allocated to subsidize the costs of gas supply. Applications are accepted by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the Penza Oblast. Participants of the Great Patriotic War, combat veterans, participants of the special military operation or members of their families, large families, and families with children, whose per capita income is below the subsistence level, are eligible for a subsidy.
