Uzbekistan delegation visited the Damate Group plant in the Nizhny Lomov district.

The turkey production project in the Penza Oblast implies a full cycle: 2 incubators, 648 poultry houses for rearing and fattening, 2 elevators, 4 feed mills, a high-tech turkey slaughtering and processing plant, and the largest deep processing enterprise in Europe.

In 2023, the company produced 183 thousand tons of turkey in slaughter weight in the Penza Oblast. Damate enterprises operate in Nizhny Lomov, Kolyshley, Vadinsk, Mokshan, Spassk, Pachelma, Narovchats, Shemysheyka and Penza districts.

According to the results of 2023, Damate Group headed the rating of the largest Russian turkey producers for the sixth time. The company also leads the list of producers in Europe and ranks fifth in terms of turkey production in the world.

In June 2024, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Damate signed an agreement with the government of the Penza Oblast on additional investments worth more than 16.5 billion rubles to expand the turkey production project and increase the existing production capacity by 27%, from 207 to 264 thousand tons of turkey in slaughter weight per year.

The increase in meat processing volume will be due to the construction of five new poultry blocks consisting of poultry houses for rearing and fattening turkeys.

Representatives of the Samarkand Region of Uzbekistan showed interest in organizing the production process. The delegation includes a representative of a poultry farm. The businessman noted that he was particularly interested in getting acquainted with the production facilities of Damate Group.

"We see great prospects in the exchange of experience in the agro-industrial sphere," said Erkinjon Turdimov.

"Today we held a business forum with the entrepreneurs from the Penza and Samarkand regions, and we can see the interest on both sides," said Nikolai Simonov, Chairman of the Government of the Penza Region. We will continue to work together to expand cooperation."
