The main goal of the visit to the Republic of Belarus is to participate in the 15th national holiday "Kupalye", which will be held in the Mogilev Region on July 6-7.
This year's event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State, as well as the Year of Quality in Belarus and the Year of Family in Russia.
Among the guests of honor are State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev, top leaders of state bodies of Belarus, and representatives of several Russian regions.
The Penza delegation visited the alleys of Friendship and Mogilev, since Penza and Mogilev are twin cities.
The guests also visited the Technolit industrial enterprise (a plant that produces components and spare parts for automotive, agricultural, road construction, railway, special military and other equipment).
In addition, Penza residents laid flowers in memory of those killed in the defense of Mogilev during the Great Patriotic War in the Buinichskoe Pole memorial complex.
