Areas of cooperation between STANKIN and residents of the machine-tool cluster were discussed at the international forum" Innoprom-2024".
The machine-tool cluster has proved its capacity, it is developing and has reached the interregional level. This was stated by the rector of the personnel training university for high-tech engineering sectors Vladimir Serebrenny, who visited the stand of the Penza Oblast at the main industrial exhibition of Russia.
Oleg Kochetkov, StankoMashStroy CEO, introduced equipment produced in Penza, outlined plans to increase the localization of production and import substitution of components.
The meeting was held as part of the cooperation agreement signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In June, the document was signed by the Governor of the Penza Oblast Oleg Melnichenko and the rector of one of the country's strategic universities Vladimir Serebrenny.
Special attention was paid to the development of joint activities aimed at training qualified specialists and improving production efficiency.
"I will definitely come to the Penza Oblast. Most likely after the beginning of the educational process at the university. It is interesting to see the production facilities and communicate with Penza residents, who are at the forefront of the country's machine tool industry. It is important to develop cooperation with industrial partners. I am confident that cooperation between universities and industrial enterprises is at the heart of regional development, " said Vladimir Serebrenny.
