The Perinatal Center is a structural division of the medical and sanitary unit No. 59 of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.
The Governor of the Penza Oblast, FMBA head, and Rosatom CEO talked with employees and patients of the medical institution.
"Let everyone have maternal happiness," Veronika Skvortsova told the patients of the center.
The perinatal Center provides all types of qualified specialized medical care in the field of obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology.
The women's consultation (outpatient department of the center) provides primary specialized medical care for pregnant women, women in the postpartum period and gynecological patients with 140 visits per shift. The gynecological department has 18 beds: 13 round-the-clock beds and 5 in the day hospital. The obstetric department has 20 beds: 5 beds for pregnancy pathology, 15 for pregnant women and women in labor.
"It is important that not only equipment determines everything, we also pay special attention to the personnel," Veronika Skvortsova emphasized. We now have 100% staffing of the district service of the adult and children's polyclinic, and there is also no shortage of medical specialists. We held a meeting with and discussed in detail the action program for 2024-2025. This year, we will create a comprehensive Health Center for employees, which will include a special center for family well-being. It will include not only medical, but also psychological aspects of reproductive health."
"It is important to note that what we have already done over the past three years has significantly improved health indicators in Zarechny," she concluded.
