The Moscow Victory Museum summed up the results of the last academic year and named the top 100 school museums in the country. Youth Museum of the Penza Oblast, Museum of Soviet Life of secondary school No. 74 and School Museum of secondary school No. 18 of Penza are among the best school museums in Russia. These school museums not only carefully preserve our history, but also actively participate in the events and competitions of the all-Russian Victory Museum.
The competition results are based not only on the presentation of exhibits at a special program site, but also participation in events and activities, as well as the initiation of own projects. It is pleasant that the All–Russian competition of interregional projects "The History of a Big Country" became very popular, which revealed long-standing cooperation between school museums, and pushed some of them to new horizons," said Elena Slesarenko, director of the Children's Center of the Victory Museum.
Last year, partner schools participated in the annual All-Russian congress "School Museum of Victory", and "History of a Big Country", Film Festival, Orlyonok and Artek recreation camps, and organized dozens of exhibitions within the "Russia" forum at VDNKh.
In total, the partners of the Victory Museum are more than 2,000 school museums of Russia, as well as the republics of Belarus and Kazakhstan. The School Museum of Victory program has been providing methodological, informational and advisory support on museum activities to preserve the history and culture of our country.
