On October 17-18, as part of the International Forum "Internationalization of Russian Higher Education: Pedagogical Innovations, Problems, and Prospects", the Penza State University will host the opening of the International Friendship Club of the Penza Oblast.
Members of the Club can be citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign countries aged from 14 to 35 years, who will be able to form a multinational community of young active people.
To date, 8 International Friendship Clubs are already operating in the Volga Federal District: in Mari El, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Perm Krai, Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov and Orenburg Oblasts. In the near future, 6 more will open in Mordovia, Udmurtia, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Samara and Saratov Oblasts.
The International Friendship Clubs were started under the program" Cultural Patronage " by Rosmolodezh. On behalf of Russian President Vladimir V. Putin, in order to preserve the post-festival heritage and further develop international relations between Russian and foreign representatives, the project "International Friendship Clubs" will be implemented in 89 regions of Russia.
