A working meeting between the Governor of the Penza Oblast and the head of the Donetsk People's Republic was held in Donetsk.

"I am glad to once again welcome you to the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic," Denis Pushilin said. – We feel the support of Penza residents, their attitude to the residents of Donbass, and to the current situation related to the special military operation. Your guys are participating in the liberation of the DPR, I convey my words of respect and gratitude to them."

The head of the DPR noted the scale of restoration work being carried out on the territory of the republic by the Penza company Mostovik. The road construction company was one of the first organizations to express readiness to work in new territories.

For two and a half years, Mostovik has implemented dozens of infrastructure projects in the DPR, and most of them were completed ahead of contract deadlines.

Since 2022, Mostovik has restored about 1,000 km of roads and 14 road structures in the Donetsk People's Republic. The company also performs a full cycle of maintenance of the regional and federal road network (more than 3,600 kilometers).

This year, the company is implementing significant infrastructure projects, for example, major repairs of the R-280 "Novorossiya" highway. The modernization of the alternative route to Crimea is ahead of schedule. This month it is planned to open traffic on the first ten kilometers of the road from the border with the Rostov region to the city of Novoazovsk. In September, Penza specialists completed major repairs of the T-05-07 highway "Donetsk-Khartyzsk-Amvrosiyevka-Uspenka checkpoint" ahead of the contract deadlines. The highway will provide comfortable movement of cars, trucks and public transport.

"This is also extremely important," Denis Pushilin emphasized to the participants of the meeting. I am sure that the residents of the DPR will appreciate this. Of course, there is still a lot to be done in the field of road construction, but thanks to the Penza company, which we know and appreciate dearly, we have received high quality roads."

Oleg Melnichenko noted that over the past two years, the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic has noticeably changed for the better.

"It is clear that life is improving, and people see these changes," the governor stated. – When I came here in 2022, it was difficult to even guess how much work would have to be done, but our specialists managed it. We understand how important it is to restore Donetsk cities and towns as quickly as possible. It is necessary to provide normal life for the people who stayed here and who are returning and will return to their native land. Penza builders are ready to continue helping in the implementation of strategically significant projects to restore the infrastructure of the DPR."
