Penza Student Squads Take Part in first Russian-Belarusian Meeting
Society 10.10.2024
The first Russian-Belarusian meeting of student squads has ended in the Pskov Oblast. It was attended by more than 100 activists from 12 regions of Russia and 5 regions of the Republic of Belarus.
The meeting was organized within the framework of the "Bridges of Friendship" project organized by Pskov State University in 2023. The meeting was scheduled in the calendar of events of the Union State (Russia and Belarus).
The meeting included viewing and discussion of the film " Vozrozhdenie. Chronicles of Student Squads", a round table on best practices in educational work in universities, aimed at helping municipalities of the Pskov Oblast to restore monuments and conduct patriotic classes with schoolchildren.
The Penza delegation of student squads was headed by Svetlana Ledyaeva.
"We exchanged ideas and practices with students from other regions of Russia and Belarus, and saw how student squads work in different regions. I especially remember the joint events: master classes, sports competitions in folk games and cultural programs, where we were able to show our talents, show our region in all its glory and make new acquaintances. The atmosphere of friendship and cooperation was simply incredible! I am proud that I represented my region and was able to contribute to the development of the student movement. This meeting was not only a leadership experience for me, but also an opportunity for personal growth and expanding my horizons. I hope that such events will be held in our region as well," Svetlana Ledyaeva shared.
Moreover, representatives of student squads of the Penza Oblast took part in competitive tests and became the best in the categories "Best Fighter", "Photo " and" Media".
The meeting of student squads allowed not only to strengthen friendly ties between the youth of the two countries, but also to find common points for joint cooperation. The project resulted in the creation of a Russian-Belarusian division of the youth patriotic action "Union Team".
