The meeting was held as part of the Penza Oblast Governor's working trip to new Russian territories.

The Penza Oblast is the chief region for Pologovsky and Tokmaksky districts of Zaporozhye, and in 2024, Penza specialists restored 13 objects.

Two artesian wells in Tokmak, three sewage pumping stations in Pologi, five water pipes (1 in Tokmak, 4 in Pologi), a school, a sports center and a multifunctional center building were repaired ahead of schedule.

A delegation of the Penza Oblast is actively working in Zaporozhye, carrying out construction control and conducting emergency recovery work.

Evgeny Balitsky thanked Oleg Melnichenko for supporting the new Russian region.

"Tokmak and Pologovsky municipal districts are practically on the line of contact, but Penza specialists work quickly and conscientiously, and we appreciate their work," Evgeny Balitsky emphasized.

Restoration plans for the period 2025-2030 have also been approved.

"We will continue to support the residents of Zaporozhye region, helping them to return to a peaceful life," Oleg Melnichenko summed up. – There is a lot of work to be done, but this important task must be solved. We will continue to restore educational, cultural, housing and communal facilities."
