The closing ceremony of the fifth season of the All-Russian competition "Big Recess" among students of grades 8-10 within the federal project "Success of Every Child" of the national project "Education" was held at the Artek International Children's Center. The competition was held as part of the educational festival "First in the Land of Opportunities" and brought together 1,500 children from all over the country.
The winners of the "Big Recess" were three schoolgirls from the Penza Oblast. A student of school No. 14 from Kuznetsk Sabina Kadirmitova won one million rubles; Arina Ishmuratova, a student of school No. 66 in Penza, and Karina Vlasova, a student of School No. 5 in Kuznetsk, won 200 thousand rubles each for educational purposes and development.
Another 24 Penza schoolchildren became prize-winners of the competition. Students of the 10th grade received 200 thousand rubles each, students of grades 8-9 received 100 thousand rubles each for educational purposes and development.
Prizes will also be awarded to teachers who have prepared successful students. Mentors of the winners will receive 150 thousand rubles each, and those who have prepared the prize-winners will be awarded 50 thousand rubles each.
Big Recess is the flagship project of the Movement of the First. The contest is co-organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The project is part of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities" and is supported by the RF Ministry of Education and the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
