As of the end of 2024, Penza Oblast has signed approximately 9,356 agreements with residents for additional gas supply. A total of 96% of these contracts have been completed up to the boundary of land plots, while 79% of households have been connected to the gas supply.
In addition, over 1,144 agreements have been signed for comprehensive gasification services as part of a program that includes all construction work and the installation of gas-using equipment.
According to the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, the average cost of work within the applicant’s land plot in Penza Region is 98,000 rubles (compared to the national average of 150,000 rubles, and 133,000 rubles in the Volga Federal District).
Subsidies are available to disadvantaged groups for the purchase and installation of gas-using equipment, as well as for the execution of related works. These subsidies cover the applicant’s costs but are capped at 130,000 rubles per household, available once. This program also includes participants in the special military operation and their families.
For 2025, gas supply is planned for 639 households across 33 garden associations, with 39 connection agreements already signed. Additional gasification is underway for socially significant facilities.
According to the regional ranking, the Penza Oblast has been awarded 57 points, placing it in third position nationwide.
