The second day of the business program for the delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan’s visit to Penza Oblast focused on the implementation of the state program “Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas.” The guests were shown successful practices from the Nizhny Lomov and Gorodishchensky districts.
In the village of Krivosheyevka, homes were built as part of the state program “Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas.” This includes a residential complex “Solovyi,” consisting of three apartment buildings for 111 families, and a complex of 37 semi-detached houses with 191 apartments. Most of the residents are employees of the “Damate” Group and their families, who were provided with apartments under social rental agreements.
The delegation also visited the “Teremok” kindergarten in Krivosheyevka, designed for 150 children, which was built under the “Demography” program in late 2021.
In the Nizhny Lomov district, the Tatarstan delegation learned about the activities of the largest turkey farming complex in Russia, operated by the “Damate” Group. In 2024, the company produced 183,000 tons of turkey in slaughter weight in Penza Oblast.
In the Gorodishchensky district, the guests toured the “Ekoprod” company. It is engaged in meat processing and canning. It currently has storage facilities with a capacity of up to 300,000 standard cans and processing capacity for up to 600,000 standard cans of meat. The company receives federal support.
