Larisa Kazakova, Director of the Penza College of Transport Technologies, has become a finalist for the country’s main educational award, “Knowledge. Award 2024,” in the category “For Educational Activities in the System of Secondary Vocational Education.”
Under Larisa Kazakova’s leadership, the college has become a center for youth education, implementing projects that foster respect for historical memory and heroism, both past and present. Key initiatives include the unique mobile museums “Victory Bus. Penza – Brest” and “Penza – to the Front,” as well as Russia’s first museum dedicated to the history of the Special Military Operation, established at the college.
The “Knowledge. Award” is the country’s premier educational prize, established by the Russian Society “Knowledge” in 2021. It recognizes the achievements of educators, lecturers, authors, bloggers, science popularizers, and other public figures, as well as outstanding educational projects and companies across various fields.
In 2023, the “Knowledge. Award” received over 18,000 applications from 89 Russian regions. It also became an international event, with educators from 34 countries participating.
